Testimonials

It took me a couple weeks before I began to appreciate my LMR inpatient experience but it turned out to be one of best experiences of my life! Thank you Lakeside Milam staff and alumni for my sobriety and for destroying all my rationalizations and self-loathing which aided and abetted 30+ years of habitual relapsing!

I felt welcomed right away when I admitted to the facility in September of 2018. The staff was extra in that they were former addicts themselves. Something special happens when you dedicate your life to helping others. My needs were expertly met and I made some life long friends. Thanks to all for a new life I treasure. Forever grateful

This place was awesome! I went in Feb 2, 2017. I was scared and freaked out. Wanted to be home. But after a couple days I was doing well. Not craving alcohol. These guts jeep you so busy you don't have time to crave. By the time my month was up, I didn't want to leave as I felt safe in there Thank you so much Lakeside Milam! 😊. I have a little over 2 yrs sober thanks to Lakeside teaching me and giving me the tools I needed to stay sober. Wish I lived closer I would come visit!
